Clann an Drumma will be returning to Troon for the third year in a row with a special 75 minute headline set on the Friday evening of The Open Championship that not only features their full on Celtic Tribal set but also incorporates a special indie-folk set in the middle of the gig with their Sons of Alba spin off.

This gig will feature an opening Clann an Drumma set followed by a short Sons of Alba interlude and closed oout with a rousing CAD finale! What a great way to start off your Open Championship Friday evening in Troon!

Clann and Drumma are far from your typical Scottish drum and pipe band sound. With an unconventional approach that combines traditional music with a modern edge, they have created a sound that is both powerful and raw. Their music will take you on an emotional journey that is both moving and exhilarating.

The band's music is perfect for anyone who is looking to experience something new and exciting; from their raw drumming to hauntingly beautiful pipe melodies.

Clann an Drumma's performances are always high-energy and full of surprises, with each live show guaranteed to leave you breathless.

Sons of Alba are a Scottish indie-folk band formed by members of Clann An Drumma as a creative outlet that allows for the expansion of writing styles from the band members.

Prior to even joining the band, piper Dougie has always been a fan of folk music. Many of the more vocal-led songs he has written for Clann An Drumma actually had their foundations in a more folk/acoustic genre but eventually had an arrangement more in line with CAD's typical instrumentation.

These are STANDING TICKETS with unallocated balcony seating available on arrival subject to availability.
